I'm a Houston native and graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1993. In 2001, I turned my passion into a profession with the launch of RRI. I would describe my personal design style as "livable luxury" - super nice and luxurious, but approachable and comfortable. This is the same design principle that guides the way I design for my clients. I've always had a special place in my heart for Austin and now split my time between Houston and Austin offering my award-winning interior design services in both great cities. Together, Tom and I have 3 beautiful daughters and 3 grandchildren that call me "Glammy." In my spare time, I love to read, hike and cook great food from scratch. I also love to spend time with my family and 3 wiener dogs: Lil Focker, Mini Cooper and Sadie Girl.
I joined Rainey Richardson Interiors in 2017 after working for several other firms across the country. I grew up in Austin where I received a BFA in Art History from the University of Texas. My personal design aesthetic is quirky and eclectic using a mantra of "if you love it, you should have it" but I most enjoy designing unique spaces tailored to each client's personal tastes. Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my family, volunteering with rescue organizations, traveling, and enjoying Houston's fabulous restaurant scene.
I was born and raised in Houston, TX where my creative nature was fostered from a young age being a musical theatre actress. My interest in Interior Design was piqued by my mother’s drive and passion which led me to pursue a degree in Interior Design, and ultimately join the family firm. My attention to detail and technical skills add a critical design component needed for new build and remodel design work. Outside of the studio, I enjoy visiting the family lake house in ATX, spending time with my sisters, and playing with my niece and twin nephews.
I joined Rainey Richardson Interiors in 2019. I grew up in Waco, TX and have a BS in Education from the University of Houston. My favorite part about working in the interior design industry is watching the progress of each project grow from an idea to full completion and getting to experience each client's excitement along the way. When not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends, and three fur babies! I love to travel, read, photography, most things outdoors, and volunteering with Baker-Ripley.
As a serial entrepreneur and numbers guy, I love the challenges of operating a small business. I started my career working in the printing industry and gradually moved to marketing and advertising before landing in the interior design world. For the past 7 years I’ve had the privilege of working with my wife, Rainey, and watching her become the interior design force she is today. When I’m not creating Excel spreadsheets, managing our subcontractors, or helping clients in our furniture showroom, I love binging Netflix, dining out with friends, exercising, and of course, playing with my three grandkids!
In 2001 I made the decision to turn my passion for interior design into a career. What started out as a small, home-based business has grown into a 4,500-square-foot showroom and design studio in the Houston Design Center. During this time, I’ve been fortunate to earn the trust of incredible clients who allowed me to collaborate with them and bring our inspiration to their homes. I owe my success not only to hard work, but also to my amazing team and clients.
In today’s fast-paced world, our homes should be a place where we go to rest, be inspired and energized. These spaces are where we spend our best moments with family and friends, so it’s important that they reflect our identity, are livable and engaging.
Our purpose at Rainey Richardson Interiors is to design your home with timeless inspiration while marrying everyday function with form. We create livable spaces that reflect the personality and story of each client. More importantly, we structure our designs to help families bond and make memories that will last a lifetime.
